Louisa May Alcott

Would anyone care to borrow my book of Louisa May Alcott's blood and thunder novellas? I will be discussing them at the end of the month.

Want, yes. Have time to read, no. *sigh* three more days before I go back to work, and not Enough Done.

oddly, in some ways they are. I'm feeling guilty about the fact that the house is no tidier than I started the holiday (even though I did lots of cleaning on the Thursday before SwanCon, so that the unpacking wasn't going to be a complete disaster), and that the couple of projects I really want to get finished haven't even been unpacked from their respective boxes, but not as guilty as I might.

Instead, I've been fired up on all sorts of levels, and getting some oomph back (I'm doing fan fic research! after dinner time! for a story that I think I know how the research is relevant, but I might have to muck with the time lines (Charles Babbage! Lydia Bennett! The Scarlet Pimpernel! oh, my)). And I've tackled a couple of tasks that have been hanging about. And I had my first clarinet lesson today!

The not enough done is work - I have in fact not read a single journal article, or looked at any of the things that I was going to put some time in to make up for the missing time for this that and the other (generally kid related) thing.

too true. And it isn't the regular stuff, which I can organise around, that causes the problems.
