Bloody technology

Hmmmm, I have finally had my six months worth of solar power credited to my account.

It seems a bit odd that it is 10 KWh ($3.45) for a six month period? Can this possibly be right?

Would very much appreciate advice.

Do you have any kind of tracking information? Either for the current place or the previous one to know how much power you use?

How large are your panels? Do they have any kind of bluetooth or other connectivity that would allow you to know how much power they are producing on a daily basis?

We have a Very Large setup for a domestic one (the largest that was allowable as domestic when we put it in) and we have still been paying for electricity this winter because we replaced our defunct gas hot water system with an electric-boosted solar system.

Without knowing anything about how much power you use or produce, it is very difficult to know whether that is reasonable or not.

flashing messages is not a good sign :{

I hope it all gets sorted out. I've been talking with another friend, whose household had an electrician out to check their installation, only to discover that one of the panels wasn't plugged in!

One wonders whether incompetence or weather is to blame.
