1, Dad's lungs are much better. He will find out about his kidneys next week.
2, We went to the Royal Show today. Pearl behaved really well, and the only thing she asked for was a knitted finger puppet. (I had expected a torrent of requests). Ruby, OTOH, felt overwhelmed and really only enjoyed the point where she got to pat a pig. She appeared to be hypnotised as she squatted by the piglet.
My favourite part was the crafts hall which was filled with amazing stuff.
