Thank you all for the lovely fridge. Unfortunately, I did not envision the fridge in three dimensions when I bought it. It fitted into the gap I had allocated.... but the door did not open properly.
So... on to Plan B which involves removing the cupboard I keep my linen in and putting the fridge there.
I am looking for some kind volunteers to come around to help me with this, as it is, unfortunately, currently physically impossible for me to move these things on my own.
This horrible, boring job involves:
· Hauling the massive wooden cupboard out of the laundry to my front yard (from where, hopefully, it will be taken away by some charity). I will aim to empty it out before hand - it is already two thirds emptied.
· Pushing the fridge into the corner. This should be easy peasy, and I could even do it myself, as the fridge is on wheels.
· Putting the drier on top of the washing machine. Ideally this would involve bolting the drier to the wall of the laundry.
· Moving the bookcase into the space opened up by stacking the drier on top of the washing machine.
In return I can offer:
· I’ll try to make home-made orange cake.
I hate asking for favours like this, but there is just no way I could move the cupboard even at the best of times. Certainly not while 26 weeks pregnant.
Is anyone free to do this on the weekend – either the morning of Saturday 14th or Sunday 15th?
