In the 1990s I was on a train that went through Thatcher’s home town, stopping briefly at the station. I only knew this because virtually the entire train booed and shouted obscenities. A horrible woman, personally responsible for the destruction of millions of lives and the deaths of thousands, is now dead. Sadly, her legacy of unfettered individualism lives on.
