The bright side, our wages are now frozen rather than reduced (though with some anomalies so people side by side will earn different amounts).
However, conditions like part-time work and work from home are still up in the air.
I am now the union rep, so I am the face of the face of this dispute and everyone comes to me with their issues. So, yay. Also, what a great way to meet the new boss, as his nemesis. Excellent.
This is absolutely absorbing most of the time and energy in the office. I had three separate meetings over this in the three days I was in the office last week. I feel that the new boss has squandered the massive good will and commitment to our work that our office has always had.
