It is the gearbox. Apparently it costs $500 to take the gearbox apart and then it is like a raffle. If I'm lucky the damage is at the low end ($1000), otherwise up to $5000.
Don't know whether to scream or weep.
Of course it would happen just as I am meant to be showing around the DUFF delegate. Grump.
