I recently read - and have lost - a fic where Gimli takes Legolas to Erebor after the quest. He takes him into this room which is set up with vacuum doors so no one can hear what is said in there - Dwarves go there to give true names to babies and to exchange names with their loved ones. By the grace of Mahal, Legolas is given a name and they are able to complete the Dwarven marriage ceremony.

I would really love to read it again!
