I am going to try focusing on a very narrow group next year - novels of sf and fantasy written by women.
28 January - Beatrix Potter, The Tale of Peter Rabbit (1901 but first told 1893 and first written 1900 so I am squeezing it in)
25 February - Jane Loudon, The Mummy! (1827)
31 March - Constance Naden, Complete Works (1891)
28 April - Louisa May Alcott, one of her supernatural short stories?
26 May - Anna Sewell, Black Beauty (1877)
30 June - Elizabeth Stuart Phelps Ward, The Gates Ajar (1868)
28 July - Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, The Last Man (1826)
25 August - Annie Denton Cridge, Man's Rights: Or How Would You Like It? (1870)
29 September - Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights (1847)
27 October - Marie Corelli, A Romance of Two Worlds (1886)
24 November -
Any suggestions for the months I've not scheduled anything? Preferably something short because, frankly, this is looking like a pretty heavy reading load.
